Triple Energizer Qi Gong

Developed by Salvador Cefalu, M.S., L.Ac.

A Center For Natural Healing-139.jpg

The word “Qi” (or “chi”) means “life force” or "vital energy" of the body and the word “Gong” means "skill" that is cultivated through steady practice.  Thus, Qi Gong means “the skill of cultivating energy.” The practice involves gentle, rhythmic exercises combined with simple breathing techniques to relieve stress, support detoxification, regulate the immune system and thereby increase the body’s innate healing abilities.

Qi Gong is quickly becoming popular in the West for its healing power and rejuvenating properties. The exercise routines can be learned easily and are perfect for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Triple Energizer Qi Gong focuses on increasing the strength of your three primary energy centers, which store and activate energy to vitalize all of your body’s organ systems. Regulating the dynamic function of these centers is fundamental to optimizing your well-being and healing your body and mind.

Yin Yoga Integration

Developed by Setareh Moafi, Ph.D., L.Ac.

In Chinese philosophy, Yin Yang theory describes how the seemingly opposite forces of Yin & Yang are at the same time complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world. Yin represents the passive, internal, quiet, contemplative aspects while Yang represents the more active, external aspects of the self and all of life.

In modern society, the tendency is to become overly Yang, which can lead to the depletion of Yin, thereby damaging the body’s fluids and connective tissue. Overstimulation of Yang energy also leads to over-activation of the central nervous system, inhibiting your natural processes of sleep, relaxation and digestion.

Yin Yoga Integration blends practical wisdom from Classical Chinese Medicine with Yin (passive) & Yang (active) styles of Yoga to support you with strength, balance, flexibility and clarity.

By freeing your Sinew Meridians, these practices slowly release latent patterns physically, mentally and emotionally to allow for greater calm and freedom of movement in every aspect of your life.

Interwoven with core insights from my two decades studying, practicing and teaching the ancient wisdom of Classical Chinese Medicine, Daoism and Yoga, these practices transform simple movements into accessible self-care.

Her excellence as a practitioner is highlighted in her ability to teach with a clarity and groundedness that is unprecedented. I learn from Dr. Moafi every time…She is ridiculously brilliant and knowledgeable, and has a way of teaching that makes you want to learn, apply, and grow.
